Graduated with a Master's in Social Work, with a Concentration in Administration, Planning, & Policy, and Certificate in Public Policy. She also has a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Fine Arts. She has been a recipient of numerous awards, studied abroad, & has extensive experience and training in nonprofit management, direct service, board leadership, development, & membership. More specifically she has worked with various clientele & agencies serving: mentally ill, disadvantaged children and adults, homeless, those involved in foster care, hospitalized and variations in between. She serves as a youth leader at her local church; is a Social Entrepreneur; and is currently employed as an Consultant for a few Social Service entities. Native of North Caroline, residing in Pennsylvania for the last twenty years. Ms F. German is retired Military Member serving for over 12 years. She also is a retired accountant and New Jersey Transit bus driver. She kept special needs children for many years and currently serves in her community to those who are shut in, needing clothing, youth in need. Shaniel Baker, Member, Board of Directors
Native of Jamaica; originally residing in East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. Ms. Baker finished her Bachelors Degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Accounting from East Stroudsburg University. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and The International Student Club. She is a strong advocate for helping the less fortunate live out their best lives. Ms. Baker has excellent investigative skills, is innovative, and a natural problem solver. Mentor's R Us Inc. is most proud to welcome our first person to advance from Intern to Board of Director's. Ms. Baker is an example of the type of upward mobility we would like to see all of our people achieve in and outside of Mentor's R Us Inc.! Acting Secretary 2018-until February 2023. Beverly Goode, Member, Auxiliary Board, 2018 Resident of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Goode earned a Bachelors of Liberal Arts in Psychology from The College of New Roshelle in NY and a Master of Social Work from Marywood University. Mrs. Goode has over ten years work experience as part of the child study team on behalf of at risk youth. She has also had over 28 combined years as Clinician, Supervisor, Support Staff, and Resident Adviser. Mrs Goode currently works at the Center for Vision Loss and is passionate about pursuing her entrepreneurship plans. She enjoys supporting causes near to heart and has been a value asset to our organization. |
Nicole Thomas, MRU Historian Board of Directors/Mentor
Native of Newark, NJ has been actively working in the medical field for over fourteen years. She currently serves as Office Coordinator for an Acute Care Facility for Rehabilitation. Nicole is a loving mother and has above adequate knowledge of working with patients, client care, and administrative dealings that prepared her to serve as a mentor. Ms. Thomas is also the Founder/CEO of Mirror Mirror Magazine & Mirror Mirror Media Web Designs and a published author. Ms. Thomas graciously created and maintained Mentor's R Us Website free of charge from 2008-2012. Native of Elizabeth, New Jersey is an optimistic individual who loves to get to know the heart of people. Once approached by MRU James has never hesitated to lend his hand. He is the devoted father of one son Isaiah, obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2002 from Kean University, taken Business Management Courses, but is most adamant about health and nutrition. James is a Certified Personal Trainer who endeavors to continue to empower individuals through health and wellness. James vision for MRU includes a full spectrum community center. Mr. Lott is the CEO of EPT Fitness; and was President of Mentor's R Us Inc from 2007-2010. |
